My name is Gerda Hartman and I am married to Marjo (the maker of this website) and together we have 3 sons and 2 daughters:

For years my biggest hobby has been sewing, especially for my kids, and a big wish was to own a embroidery machine. In 1999 I became the owner of a secondhand Brother PE100, and soon I enjoyed it so much that it ended in a Brother Supergalaxie 2100 with PE-design, and just recently we also acquired a Brother 190D (Disney). Most of the sewing I do on my Pfaff Quilt Expression.

Through all this I discovered Internet and now we have this web-site. I hope you will enjoy the projects and patterns, and I would like to hear something of you. Another hobby of mine is making postcards in 3D, in combination with other materials. The postcards will also be shown regularly. I also collect the Flower Fairy figurines from Cicely Mary Barker.
